Next Session Games is a small business located in downtown Griffith, IN that was created to build community through the magic of tabletop gaming. Our mission is simple: Introduce people to tabletop games and give them a place to play them. By doing that, we also give those people a place to meet other people to share in the fun.
It goes beyond just playing the games, though. Tabletop gaming is a great gateway to other hobbies. Your average dungeon master for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign isn’t just rolling dice. They’re engaging in writing, visual art, game design, and more to bring together a world for their players. War-gamers don’t just play with miniatures. They often moonlight as painters applying fine details to their soldiers or architects sculpting entire mock-cities out of foam and cardboard. These skills are invaluable in many professional settings, not least of which is the game design community. We want to provide the space for people with an interest to meet, exchange ideas, and create things they might not have made otherwise.
